2016 Tour de France edition
What could more exciting than riding the best roads of Vuelta d’Espanya or Catalunya or the mythic Plateau de Beille? We propose a five days cycling, with challenging climbs trough scenic roads in Andorra, Catalunya and France.
We welcome you in the afternoon in the Hotel Babot above the beautiful village of Ordino.
If we have time, we go for a small ride.
Ordino, Beixalis, Coll d'Ordino, Arcalis, Pal.
A beautiful tour to get a first impression of the region, we climb the "Collada the Beixalis" by it's easy side (8% maximum) and down to Encamp, second climb to the " Coll d'Ordino" (Tour de France, Vuelta...) to get back to Ordino and we climb to Arcalis (Arrivée du tour de France) back down and a last climb to Pal Vallnord, home of the 2015 MTB WC.
We start the tour after a transfer from your hotel by Van to La Seu d'Urgell. 140km of beautiful and quiets roads, you will pass near Tuixen in La Sierra del Cadi, climb up to Port de Comte, Col De Jou, Coll de Nargo and back to la Seu d’Urgell
La Rabassa, Coll de la Peguera
You start the day by a ride down to St Julia before a nice 18 km climb to get to La Rabassa, you pass trough the Col de Peguera and back down to St Julia, if you feel comfortable, you finish the day at Engolasters by La Comella.
Afternoon at Caldea to rest in hot thermal water.

An hour drive from Andorra to get to Ax-les-thermes for a great loop by the famous col of the “Tour de France” There are many routes to do, we will plan the trip the previous day
Way back to the hotel by van.

You have a very good physical shape and practice at least once a week road biking over long distances. Distance from 85 to 140 km per day, with elevation change positive from 900 m to 3200 meters.
You will ride the most beautiful roads and scenic places in and around Andorra.

SELF-GUIDED OR GUIDED TOUR WITH VAN ASSISTANCE
The support vehicle and bike trailer will rejoin the group at different points throughout the day, often at the top of the passes, and will transport your picnic, water, supplementary clothing, as well as a complete toolkit in case of mechanical problems. You will therefore be able to take full advantage of your day by bringing with you only a light bag or nothing at all! The driver of the vehicle will also provide advice at each stage, help you to maximize your effort, offer encouragement and most of the time, answer any questions you may have about the regions you have visited.
Lodging and food
You stay in a cozy family-run hotel above the village of Ordino, this 3 star hotel has all the commodities that you need (WI-FI, SPA, Swimming pool, Fitness and more…) with one of the most stunning views of the valley: The Catalan/Spanish food is perfect to recover energy after a hard day on the road.
During the day, the van assistance carry the food (prepared by the hotel) or we stop in a Restaurant.
